In 2000, the Zen-Noh-Ren Research Institute was founded to begin research into cutting-edge management. The research work in the first year focused on the business model, and the results of the research were compiled into a report entitled “Pioneering the 21st Century-Creating Value in Anticipation of Future Change.”
The Institute engaged in research into the process of creating business models in FY2001 and FY2002, presented the results of the research at Part II of the 54th National Efficiency Conference held in November 2002, and compiled the results into a report.
