In 2003, Zen-Noh-Ren conducted its own management consulting survey targeting consulting organizations and management consultants. Then, in 2000, Zen-Noh-Ren conducted research surveys on Japanese/foreign consulting bodies, management consultants, academics and client companies. The surveys were designed to set a management consulting vision for the 21st century, aimed at developing the international competitive strength to respond to changes in the business environment in Japan as well as overseas. The survey work was assigned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
